Lake Catholic's official school seal was designed by Sr. M. Fidelis, O.S.U. (now Sr. Diane Pinchot, O.S.U.).

The mask represents our interaction with one another. The sun depicts the human interaction with God in the Paschal Mystery of Christ’s saving death and resurrection. The torch symbolizes our search for truth, while the olive branch represents our quest for peace. The cross and waves are the symbol of the Bishop of the Cleveland Diocese, and the interlocking rings show our partnership of life and love in the Lord. The cross symbolizes our salvation in Christ.

Sr. Diane Pinchot, O.S.U.

Sr. Diane Pinchot, O.S.U. (formerly Sr. M. Fidelis, O.S.U.) was a member of the first faculty at Lake Catholic. She accepted the challenge of organizing the art department curriculum and quickly turned the program into one of the best offered at the school. She was also a religion teacher and an integral member of the first retreat team.

Although she left Lake Catholic after the 1974-75 school year, two important legacies  that will remain as long as the school exists can be attributed to St. Diane. She designed the school seal and the school ring. Both have withstood the test of time and remain the two symbols that best exemplify the spirit and tradition of Lake Catholic High School.
